Young was taking a walk in the woods, he was carrying a notebook with him. He was planning to observe the plants and took a sit on top of a rock. As he sat down, he buried his face into his book and was very aware of his surrounding.
Rain was walking down following the river not noticing him
Every few seconds he would glance up , till one of those times he took notice of Rain.
